Hungary tried to equip an Air Force without much success until 1943 when Italy surrendered before World War II had even ended. Tactical Background Hungary started as a neutral country and started the German invasion under Noisson in 1938. Germany allowed them to remain neutral for a couple of days before starting the invasion.
