A slow, simple roguelike dungeon-crawler. It has been sitting around in my computer for 6 months or so, waiting for me to get around to finishing it. Smash Dungeon is a roguelike in that the game resets and you die when you run out of health. Unlike most roguelikes though, you don’t have to start over at level 1. Instead, you have some starting stats, such as hitpoints and money. More to Come One of my interests in Smash Dungeon is that I love the rogue-lite genre. Most roguelikes are more of a traditional roguelike. The basic idea behind the rogue-lite is to do away with the old idea of classes. You are your class, though you have those old familiar tropes to go by, like armor and skills and weapons. The design of Smash Dungeon is, in concept, more like Icewind Dale than Rogue. The difference is that you can only choose one class per character. In Icewind Dale, there are three classes. Once you have chosen a class, you are set into that class for your entire run. In Icewind Dale, even if you reset, you will still start at level 1 and know your class as a character. The dangers are everywhere, but you are a dedicated creature who only cares for that precious wad of cash. If you are caught, you’ll be “invited” to a rescue game from the city watch. If you can rescue the city watch and lead them back to where they send you, you’ll win the game. But don’t let the city watch capture you. Remember, you will be level one. You play as a dwarf and you start with some perks that give you some advantage on certain types of puzzles and traps. Depending on your choice, you have three classes to choose from.       What’s new in Pilot’s Misadventures:

      (Manga) i’ve finished reading the manga last week and wasn’t sure if i should sell it as a dl or not. but i decided not to but wait till there were 2 volumes for sale. so, i am 5 months into it, and i can say it was really worth the wait. Chapter 01, starting off, provided more info on the Alchemist, who was born into alchemy so he was raised in a familial and social bubble that was surrounded by his full-time alchemists, and they created a comedic commentary to the manga as he tries to teach young Alchemist Cid how to use Alchemy and Blood Magic while developing Cid as a special alchemist, and ends up creating a “perfect” alchemist, one that was born to be an alchemist, rather than a normal alchemist like his peers. However, the alchemist’s creation may lead to disaster. The subsequent chapters more or less jump right into the action, starting with a flashback chapter of when Al and his abilities were discovered and taken away from him, and used for experiments for a secret black group, and how throughout the narrative he made little escapes, beginning very early on when he used blood magic to control one of his school bullies, and ultimately gaining control of the other bullies and having them take over the school, and succeeding in killing the two of the places headmaster. It becomes pretty clear that none of the headmasters are particularly liked by their pupils, and Al knew just what he wanted to do to them. The chapter ends with Al ending up fighting his old headmaster, and in a final battle, surviving while the other headmaster dies. The story is definitely one of the most unique ones i’ve seen, and very fun in the story telling aspect. The art is also superb with well-drawn characters, scenery, and a lot of it was hand-drawn, keeping the style and feel of the early 90s anime style. i personally like the artwork, and how there would be blood on almost everything, consistent with blood magic. the only thing that bothered me in an interesting way was blood oozing out of the headmaster’s eyes, and similar bugs and such, which was inconsistent with what Al did to the headmaster, but some of this blood was later discovered to be partially hand drawn, without properly looking into it.
