You Full Of Liberty Video of a gun class at a Friends of the Second Amendment Festival. For those unfamiliar with the event, the Friends of the Second Amendment Festival is held annually at the Independence National Historical Park near Philadelphia. It attracts hundreds of attendees and features gun-related vendors and seminars by gun-related speakers, with a host of other activities for the public. The festival takes place over two days and includes a breakfast program, a gun cart demonstration, vendors, indoor and outdoor activities, food trucks, live music, a youth gun safety demonstration, a shooting match, and semi-annual competitions. Admission to the event is $10 for adults and $5 for children. This year the event runs Aug. 11-12. According to the Friends of the Second Amendment Festival website: “Nationwide, only about 10 percent of adults have a permit to carry a concealed firearm, and fewer than that carry a firearm for self defense. The Friends of the Second Amendment Festival educates the public about the joys, benefits and dangers of our country’s freedom to bear arms and the significance of the Second Amendment.
