This is a puzzle game about shooting colored bombs. It’s like “Tetris meets skillshots.” Each level is different. You will have to play it several times, as the environnement is randomized. Boom! Boom! is my first indie game. To make it I made : -A level editor for 5 minutes (I’m a pro, really, I swear!). -Game design and game development with a first level. -Design and implementation of a dashboard with an old user interface. -A Kickstarter campaign. -Now the game is almost playable on Steam. Serum transferrin, the major transferrin species of human blood, is the major transport protein for iron and zinc into the developing fetus and for transfer of other essential metals into the body. Transferrin is also the major species to which the neonate attaches its IgG immunoglobulins, this species complex being known as holotransferrin. Serum transferrin is synthesized in the liver and is then transported via the bloodstream to extrahepatic sites. The N-linked glycosylation of holotransferrin is unique in its having five distinct carbohydrate moieties. Of these carbohydrates, three are “complex” carbohydrates and the other two are sialic acids. Although transferrin glycosylation is altered in certain glycosylation-deficient (GD) disorders, the literature on transferrin glycosylation is mostly limited to patients with galactosemia and some diabetics. We previously reported the glycosylation analysis of holotransferrin isolated from patients with microcytic iron deficiency anemia (MIDA) and macrocytic iron deficiency anemia (MIDA). In this paper, we report the analysis of serum transferrin glycosylation in these same patients. Transferrin sialic acids were not detected in any of the serum samples from the patients with MIDA; in contrast, sialic acid carbohydrate was present in all samples analyzed from these patients and was essentially doubled in quantity compared to controls.
