But what sets it apart from the rest is the way you actually fight. There is no control of the character directly. You only control the monster that you’re fighting. So, instead of moving your character around, you have to move the monster you’re fighting around. If you’re moving around, at the same time, you’re moving the monster as well. And if you move to the other side of the screen, the monster is getting in your way. Therefore, you only control your monster by doing simple directional movements. Moreover, in the beginning of the game, the only attack option you have is a basic attack. You have to wait for your monster to stop and for his stamina to refill before you can use a special attack. In terms of special attacks, they’re actually a lot of fun! If you’re skilled enough to use special attacks, you can either skip half the game by doing combos or reduce the enemy’s health to one point by using a special attack.
