as such, theres a lot of really strange stuff that happens in resident evil 6. for example, the game has an entire section where you have to navigate a series of confusing puzzles and pick up loads of resident evil-related items. after youve completed this pointless set of tasks, youre just going to get to a room full of zombies. it would seem as though theres a sequence of events the game was teasing in earlier trailers, but nothing happens. even theres a part where jake and sherrys story is supposed to end, and yet you have to play through their entire story again. theres no real way to tell where these stories fit into the overall story of the game and its possible that they werent even intended to be part of the final product. and thats one of the problems with so much in resident evil 6.
on a personal level, i found resident evil 6 to be incredibly uncomfortable to play. the scenarios are often dark and tense, but theyre also full of noise and quick-time events, which are the exact things that get to me the most. theres a lot of noise to be sure, and while most of the various situations are designed well, theres just too much for my taste. its like resident evil 6 is trying to combine all the things that made resident evil 5 scary and were good in the first place, but being forced to play through it. too much noise, and theres not enough mood to satisfy me.
