What a “mission” it is! Within the next hour he discovers that a plague of giant cockroaches is invading every city. In the city of Peoria, Oggy heads down to a sewer to save the children of a family who have just been roachified. It goes without saying that he has to save them from the fate that the roaches reserve for everybody, especially an infant who happens to be under the sink. As he leaves the city, he looks back, and the Statue of Liberty towers over the roachified San Francisco. This leads him to wonder, “What would it take to blow this deal?”
One of the most disturbing sequences in a whole bunch of disturbing scenes is when Oggy is looking at a book of watercolors from the 1930s by J.J. “Jimmy” Palminteri, the former writer of “Lucky Luke” comic strips. He studies one of the scenes, and notices that the roaches are dressed in goggles, flippers, and other protective equipment.
The cockroaches create a plan to torment Oggy by making his training camp as a torture lab. While taking a bath with the female group, the cockroaches, without Jack’s knowledge, place a bomb underneath the bath tub, and cause a deadly explosion. The other samurai and Olivia decides to save him, only to get trapped by the cockroaches, and are surrounded, making themselves at the mercy of the cockroaches.
The female samurai run back to save him, only for one of the cockroaches to stop Olivia, and knocks her into the giant robot, causing a power surge. Sometime later, the cockroaches awaken the giant robot, as it lures Olivia towards the robot, while Oggy struggles with the cockroaches to save her. The cockroaches make a way into the factory, only to meet the giant robot, with Jack dancing and singing with the cockroaches. The cockroaches make their way into the corridor, with the giant robot chasing them. The cockroaches have reached the central machine, and the female samurai tries to hold the cage, while Oggy and Jack are in awe of the machine. The cockroaches are in the room of the machine, and all the cockroaches are knocked out by the female samurai.
