From: Rating: Review: I have loved every single iteration of the Elden Ring series since the start. From the original game over a decade ago, to the 4X game, to this new incarnation. I’m still not done with this game yet. From the combat, to the exhilarating exploration, to finding the locations of my motherlands, it does not disappoint. If you have not played this game, you have not lived until you experience this game. So, I’m gonna start with a few things. This game is REALLY hard for people who haven’t played the Elden Ring series. As the main game is one of the most difficult single player games out there, so I understand that there will be some issues for newcomers. I don’t think that the game was designed to be easy, but it’s really easy to just do some side quests and then die. If this is what you want, go for it. There’s a ton of content to just take in, and it’s all good. However, the main game has a load of content that is actually quite difficult to complete in one playthrough. It took me 5-6 hours of playing this game to get it where I finished it. I feel that the game was designed to be hard, and to have a grueling experience. However, if you don’t want to feel the burn, I definitely recommend saving up before you start the main story. It’s still a great game though, and I was amazed by how great the game was when I finished it. The melee combat is phenomenal, and while the skill system is like most other ARPGs, you have skills for elements, skills for fatigue, etc. They each have three ranks that have a number of effects.
