It’s been two years. Photoshop CC 2015 just came out and the same text. No more major updates – again. Lightroom 5 – the Fusion of DNG and RAW plug-ins – is like a Photoshop dream, already. Better than Lightroom 4 (not that Lightroom 4 was bad, mind you). If you seriously want to keep on using the full undifferentiated Photoshop experience, the one without Lightroom, I suggest you go get a new computer. I’d never consider using one from now on.

I’ve been the faithful ACD reviewer since it hit the ground running, and I’ve been extremely impressed with the new native DNG support. My experience with DNG and Lightroom 4 has been very good, so I’m not ready to quit Lightroom over it yet. Adobe’s decision to freeze Lightroom and support The Master Collection is all too telling. Wonder if the DNG support is the reason for the lean up.

The packaging is old. Should have known this was going to be a reject when I saw that. I mean, come on Adobe, you can’t package a tool to save your life? You should have got a Mac, a package or two to spare.
