To prevent them from launching hellish daemons against other planes, Diabolist Theranon sends a collection of small demons called mischka, or “little mistakes” to excavate and break down the overgrowth and reach the forgotten nooks and crevices that lurk deep within the jungle. These little mistakes are mistaken by others for malicious intruders. The mischka then lure wardens and adventurers into the farthest reaches of the jungles. Once the wardens are lured far from back-trail and the adventurers find themselves alone, the little mistakes ambush and murder them. Some lucky adventurers manage to escape back to civilized society while others are content to witness the sinking of their souls into the demonhaunted depths of the jungle. This campaign brings the area bordering the Darkest Lands back under the watch of the hellborn, as well as the goblins of the Underdark, and prepares the realm for what is yet to come. On a smaller scale, this campaign also brings out the barbarians.
