Stinky Snake is an action game based on the theme of the popular web site Twitch Plays Pokemon. The objective of the game is to navigate and explore a fictional island and collect the various tools that will help you reach your family. In the final phase of the game, the player can encounter and defeat Skunks in order to reach Snake’s family. When the player starts the game they have a short introduction and a short gameplay preview of the game. The game offers the player up to four difficulty settings, from Easy to Hard, and one to two game settings, from Normal to Fast Game Play. Each level in the game is done in a specific theme, and each level takes approximately five minutes to complete. Each level in the game is mostly linear in nature, and in some cases the exploration is not allowed, as the level ends right when the player encounters a blockage. There are however some platforming elements in the game, in which the player is able to run and jump on the surface of the ground. The controls of the game are simple, as the player is required to use the arrow keys to move around, and the A to select items and E to jump. All of these actions take place in an overworld map. The player character, Snake, has both a health meter and a stamina meter. Once either of them are at zero the player automatically loses the game. The player has a set of tools that can be collected on the way to reach the family, allowing the player to perform several different actions such as jumping, activating switches, and turning doors. Each tool type has a different range of use: the butterfly switch allows Snake to turn on and turn off all of the torches in the game, and the fishing net allows the player to lure and catch small crabs to be eaten. The tools and the other objects in the game are simply 3D model sprites with no actual physics. The objects are animated through the use of pre-rendered texture tiles, and the collision detection of the objects is handled through the use of a pre-rendered tile that is always directly behind the character. The game is entirely 2D, with the exception of the intro animation, the gameplay preview, and a single piece of art from the game. All of the art in the game is pre-rendered and has a fixed size, and the game never dynamically changes the aspect ratio of the sprites. The music is composed by Ryan Coop, who wrote the music for the game, and was also used for the video game

Controls

Controls are pretty simple! Use the usual actions to move and jump:

Enemies

The enemies in this game are enhanced versions of certain of the enemies from the previous game. They now combine correctly with the environment and give various situations. This game goes good, but certain enemies are slightly overpowered.

Bosses

The bosses in this game are more powerful than in the previous game and come in 3 different packages.

Levels

This game has 3 different levels (adventures) and each level has its own environment. Beware that having the right suit of trackering gear can save you. Needless to say the levels can be very challenging.

Trackering

Levels are full of trackering and magnetic problems. In order to solve the problems, a certain amount of Trackering and Black Gold must be used. This is done with the Trackering equipment (golden spike, hammer, magnetite, rivets, steel plates, aluminum plates and jewels).

Gems

Wizards can acquire gems that can be used for a variety of purposes. The most common is that they can be placed into trackering problems that increase the chance of solving. Gems can also be used to create ways for men to move out of sticky situations. Gems are also used for offensive purposes: They can shoot fireballs, cause teleportation or temporarily get rid of a poison. There are lots of different gems!
