You can, in fact, fill each color with a fill tool, but it’s easier to adjust the dots of color one at a time, using the Gradient tool. Where the Gradient tool is most useful is on the art you’ve already assembled. Rather than spending hours tweaking countless squares of color, you can simply select the Gradient tool and use it to create complex gradients in existing art. For example, you can create a gradient from dark orange to medium orange, or from violet to lavender.

Using the Gradient tool, you can create and manipulate color transitions that begin at one point and flow to another. You can transition from one shade of red to another in a natural-looking way. You can create the light blue you want for the sky along the path of your brush, or you can select a brush and look for a path to follow. Well, other than the bugs of the big one, it is still working OK. I tested the fit of the silver faders for the camera and they function. I also have a good supply of old black faders sitting around in this box. I will post the pics for the second one over the next week or so.

The only other change to the big one was the black matte/matte/silver faders. I decided to make the matte ones a little bigger because I was having trouble pulling them in the box. I also made the faders for the camera smaller.

Lightroom is better maintainable. No longer do I have to lean out the photo showing all layers and guides to the side of the image. Now they are all on the image and there is no more filtering out the layers and guides.
There are times when the content area is left way off to the side and it looks odd. In LR 5.2 this has decreased. Also did a lot of clicking around to find the good grid settings. Very irritating! In 5.2 this seems to be less of a problem.
There are some issues with vector editing that I am calling a bug. In 5.2, the first line tool is not lining up with the item on the line up. It is offset more than when I first used the lines tool in LR 4.3. I would use this tool in quite a few places but it just does not line up. I know it is being used heavily so maybe it just needs a little tuning for this version?
Compatibility seems to be improving.

There are very few changes in RGB mode (the only mode that makes sense, for me). It is still one of my favorites.
I played around a lot with the Content Aware tool. But there are some issues with it. Sometimes it is “stuck” on the area it thinks it can recognize.
There is one filter tool that has issues with content. Very annoying.
There are some improvements. Fewer glitches.

The range of the program’s limits at the beginning was limited to its initial memory card size limits. Adobe now supports 16-bit color, gamma-correction, and mobility to work on every platform, including tablets, smartphones, and more. Naturally, there have also been major changes in its interface as well. With the release of Darkroom, Photoshop’s biggest redesign ever, many of you will be coming face-to-face with the newer functions of the suite that many of you have been working with.

One of the coolest new features from Photoshop 2019 is the introduction of Adobe Sensei, also known as “AI technology”. Adobe has used this technology to create this special workspace in Photoshop that lets you use the simple sliders to change the subject’s expression, age, gaze, or pose in mere seconds. This could be useful for things like real-time selfie filters or real-time photo filters.

Adobe Photoshop has certainly been making some exciting feature releases over the last few years, including some wonderful features like the Camera Lens tool. This new tool uses your current image settings and your selected zoom to fill whatever is in the image frame with the image that you are currently viewing, including a number of artistic effects. But just because one of the most exciting new features in Photoshop is the new Camera Lens tool, that doesn’t mean you have to be a current Adobe customer! One of the most exciting new features that Adobe has promised is the new Content-Aware Fill tool. This can be used to easily and quickly fill common image defects like missing texture, missing color, or black spots. This will be absolutely great in case you accidentally paint over a portion of a photo or change your own photo too much.

You can now mask out elements of your photo and remove them without losing transparency. Combine that with a feature called Adjustment Layers, and you’ll easily customize your images with your own creative vision.

Having all this in mind, it’s no surprise that the timeline for the long-awaited transition of old-school (Asynchronous Rendering Mode) to OpenGL rendering is one of the most exciting in Photoshop’s history….

Prior to this announcement, when you were in user-mode, you saw very similar fidelity on an old GeForce 4-5 Nvidia card, while a top-of-the-line modern card is >2X faster. On top of this, the native feature set of 3D was limited, to the point that many reasons one might have a sharp 3D-capable card—an early model or a CI(compliant) card, for example—had no support. This was true of the NVIDIA Java APIs even though they produced much better quality than OpenGL.

You shouldn’t notice any difference. For the most part, the code underneath the hood hasn’t changed. But what was an OpenGL-based API has now been redesigned, and rewritten to use the new native APIs. On top of this, compiling the code for a modern GPU allows us to produce a more efficient translation than what was possible with old-school rendering.

The new API is a part of the Adobe Graphics Architecture. It’s still a multi-API system, in the sense that we have kept the traditional file format APIs like PSD, TIFF, etc, in our ecosystem as they are. Instead of a program-specific file format, we leverage the file format compatibility with other applications. So we didn’t go all-in on the file format, and still support PSD, JPEG and TIFF as they are. We also support the new XML file format, too.
