Man New Lion’s City is the first real-life MAN by bus in series production. This prototype was shown in 2018 in Berlin at the BACOB, the German manufacturer’s bus building exhibition. Since the beginning of 2019, this new MAN is on regular service in the city of Munich. OMSI 2 provides the opportunity to play in the existing MAN New Lion’s City of real life. The bus is based on a prototype vehicle from 2016. From the outset, MAN expressed the desire to give this bus a realistic presentation and therefore tuned it for the city map. The results are impressive. The vehicle is about double the size of the B7 generation and therefore represents the full extent of the bus’s development. In no way is the complete mannequin used in the game. A large proportion of the prototype was replaced by real parts in order to produce a perfect representation of the real MAN New Lion’s City. The latter is available in the OMSI 2 add-on MAN Stadtbus New Lion’s City. The player can carry out varied and interesting routes through the city of Munich.
