The setting of the Elder Scrolls as a fantasy world was taken from the idea that a world could be imagined as one large large dungeon. The Name “Elder Scrolls” was first used by fans of role-playing games who enjoyed exploring dungeons. This fantasy world was created while developing the Elder Scrolls series which was originally developed as a role-playing game. The Elder Scrolls Online consists of the Legacy of the First Blade, The Elder Scrolls Online, and The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. We’re excited to share an early look at the land of Cyrodiil, which will be available to play in The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited on PC, PlayStation®4, and Xbox One. The land of Cyrodiil will be available starting November 14! Cyrodiil was first introduced in Arena Gameplay, coming to PC and Xbox One during the Creation of Cyrodiil event. While many players are curious to know more about this vast region of Tamriel, we are confident that the first look you see is only the tip of the iceberg. As we continue to work on the regions of Cyrodiil, we want to provide greater opportunities for players to explore the land of Cyrodiil. We’re excited to share the following concept arts with you today. Those of you who log in on November 14 will find that two new regions will be available – The Land of the Sun and The Land of Mourn, each of which has a new story and many of their own dungeons. We are also excited to announce that we are planning to introduce a mount of Elden in The Land of Mourn. This is a mount that will appear in the land of Cyrodiil and also all over Tamriel. As you explore, you’ll have the chance to acquire an Elden Ring after completing the storyline mission. To get a closer look at Cyrodiil, we asked Starr Long, Art Director, to share the following concept arts with you. They depict different views of the land of Cyrodiil: In addition to the land of Cyrodiil, we’re also excited to share that we have an incoming release for Tamriel Rebuilt that will be available during the Legacy of the First Blade event.
