Let’s start with a short recap of the announcement. The discontinuation of Photoshop’s 3D features in future updates suggests that all 3D printing, animation and graphics designers are now encouraged to explore Adobe’s new tools that help enable real-world 3D printing, animation, and graphics.

However, before we go there, the reason for the discontinuation of Photoshop’s 3D features is that the current version of the software does not support the requirements for these new tools.
