My brother has two second hand OKI Laser Copiers and two second hand OKI Scanner/Printers that he’s looking to offload. I heard about the prices asked so was interested. I spoke to my supplier and, as told, he’d called OKI to find out more. OKI hadn’t replied by the time my supplier called again and OKI hung up on him when he thought he’d got through so he out of frustration rang again and spoke to his supplier. The guy on the phone there told him OKI didn’t have the machine to sell no more and asked my brother to ring them again in a month’s time. I’m hoping to wait a while and see if OKI can’t blow it’s cover but my brother isn’t waiting. At worst, OKI’s customer service is appalling.
Prints an output very similar to the original.The only difference is definitely the print quality. I have my Canon printer, a printer that has to be loaded with the original toner cartridge but the Okidata printer prints the same output and my huge table is nearly invisible.Quality printing is probably one of the best parts of owning a printer.For less than half of my very expensive Canon, I can print professional color images with ease.This printer definitely holds it’s own in print quality and very affordable. 🙂
The problem that I’m getting is that I installed the “Generic PCL Laser Printer” that is compatible with Okidata Oki-C3300 but it’s not displaying the picture and I can’t print. I’m not sure of this but I believe it’s due to the lack of the “Okidata PCL Laser Printer” driver. I couldn’t find the driver in the list of the drivers provided by the “Generic PCL Laser Printer” software. So I searched and downloaded the “Okidata PCL Laser Printer” driver from the Okidata website. After installing that, the “Generic PCL Laser Printer” software displayed the image but the image quality is really low. I think I need the “Okidata PCL Laser Printer” driver again as I can’t find it in the list of drivers.
