i have a problem with my windows installation. i did an online upgrade from home premium to ultimate from microsoft website and everything went well. it was only after the reboot that i noticed that my screen was all blurry and the cursor didn’t work properly. i was confused on how this could happen. any help on how to fix this problem

i have been using linux for about 15 years, but now have finally purchased a windows 7 machine, so i am also a newbie. my windows 7 premium 64bit edition came with a registration code as well. although i did all the tests, i could not find that registration code on my system, only the upgraded version, so i was wondering if anyone could advise me. i also want to thank all the people on the board for helping me. i also want to invite all the tech support to visit my blog. regards

hi andyaso, thanks for the input. i have not had any problems installing it, so far. is there anyway to check/fix the install with just a dvd-r? would a live cd of win 7 activate? i know it is possible to fix/repair problems with a repair disc, but i dont feel like going through all that just to install win 7.
