I think I can safely say this: taking screenshots of the 1920×1080 CQ cut is a really bad idea (and the same applies to capturing screen captures on a computer). The grain of the film is really washed out, and if you do it once you’ll get a mix of the CQ 22, 32, and 28 screenshots. I think there is some sort of scientific reason for it, but it can be very difficult to explain. And it is distracting. The bass notes on the acoustic piano sound like the plane is being shakked (sorry for the horrible analogy, but its the best I could come up with). This is a movie that doesn’t need this treatment, in fact it would have benefited from a simpler soundtrack. The video might also benefit from some light clean-up to fix the odd dirt and drop-in frame lines.
The sample file is the same file above converted using Constant Quality setting of 1 (works best in quality, but not recommend in the case you are on a network drive where the file size of any file downloaded is going to be fixed).
The final screen shot above is from the same movie which I converted using Constant Quality Level setting of 3. I find the file size is comparable to the MAXY file, but the file contains slightly better video quality. The file is 163 GB in size.
