Apr 25 , 2017 – Recently bought and downloaded Shogun 2. Steam will say “Running” for about 7 seconds and then just stop. Nothing happens. It doesn’t matter what I do. I tried even restarting the computer as I think it might be related to it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I played for an hour. I went to “Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs” and uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Didn’t do anything. I also checked if the game works with my profile or not. Working.
I also tried it with Steam Cloud.

It is said that removing Mcafee web/advisor will fix the situation, but hey hey, I’m certainly the only one that doesn’t help. I know this thread has been posted. Well, here is the answer. Remove Mcafee web/advisor. What do we see here? We are told that Mcafee web/advisor removes all files associated with this “installation”. Here you can see that I already have Mcafee web/advisor installed. I don’t think this is a very good idea, but we can draw two conclusions here: A) Uninstalling Mcafee web/advisor does not resolve the issue. B) If I have this problem, I should uninstall my antivirus and I can use this site without any problems. dd2bc28256
