important note: the software is not certified according to din 3960 and is only intended for the use of educational institutions. the software is used by din for calculation of the parameters required for the din e 1891 standard. the software does not allow the calculation of the shape of the teeth of gears according to din 3960. for such calculations, it is necessary to use the kisssoft gear diagnostic module for the validation of gears. for this purpose, a license is required. if the license is not provided by the user, the user may use the license for free use as long as the use is for the calculation of the parameters for din e 1891.
