in dirtwise vol 3, watts will take you from the basics of riding to the more difficult terrain. we will cover some of the more advanced techniques of riding such as riding in dirt, sand, and mud. as this first volume is our introduction to the type of terrain we will be riding, we will cover the basics of using technique and equipment in order to be prepared for the unpredictable terrain that we will be riding in.

we will cover some of the common trail situations you will find yourself in such as: ruts, rocks, holes, logs, sand, mud, steep hills, tight corners, and the very steep off-road ascents that you are bound to find when you are off-road riding. this second volume in the dirtwise with shane watts in-depth instructional dvd series is going to take you to a new level, and i hope that you are looking forward to it!

still we have had huge demand for the dvd series, and we had to start working on volume four. as most of you know, i have started working on a mountain bike, a hardtail to be exact. as an added bonus this year, we are planning to open the next year with a season of the dirtwise academy of offroad. i will be running a series of camps for kids, teenagers and adults, teaching them basic skills to help them prepare for the dirtwise mountain bike academy. i will also be running a 3 day school. my vision is to have all the kids and adults who are interested in mountain biking and dirt riding get in on the action. i have worked with the dirtwise mountain bike academy, and i am very pleased with how it is progressing. every kid, or adult who has attended the dirtwise academy of offroad school has been given a dirtwise mountain bike academy gear package to help them get started. each kit includes a dirtwise mountain bike academy jersey, dirtwise mountain bike academy helmet, dirtwise mountain bike academy boots, dirtwise mountain bike academy pants, and dirtwise mountain bike academy gloves. the dirtwise mountain bike academy gear is designed to go with the dirtwise mountain bike academy school and is also good for kids that ride bmx and do not want to wear the dirtwise mtb academy gear for bmx. the gear is made in the usa, and it is a quality product. we are still working on a frame pack for the school that is designed to fit with the mtb academy school. once we have that, we will be releasing it to you. the dirtwise mountain bike academy school started on tuesday, august 12th, and has been running every day for the last few weeks. i started instructing the school on how to build a dirtwise mtb academy and how to ride with it and how to race with it. i had all of the dirtwise mtb academy gear made up for the students. 5ec8ef588b
