You have to imagine that Castle Strike was the film version of a nuclear bunker in which people did live for a long time after the nuclear apocalypse. Obviously they would want some pretty massive walls, which would make a pretty big wall of the set. That is your cue to check any number of other places with substantial walls like the Berlin Wall, the Great Wall of China, etc. etc. It might all just be a big storage building with a lot of space for some sort of creepy academy (probably fictional) where people learn arts and sciences from the past. I think there may be some decent stop motion effects, but mostly theyre going to be done as roto-skitters or computer generated stuff.
