The truth is, since its release just over a year in the past, it doesnt stand out too much. But its impact is clear.

At first, when the book came out in my hands, I wasnt thrilled. I didnt feel like the writers message resonated that there were times Ive felt like Im in hell, its all a part of being a human. But once I began reading, I felt pulled to it. And by the end of the first chapter, I was weeping. In a good way. I cried for not only that Im in hell, but for the fact that I may never get out. And it hurt. But in the next moment, I let myself see what my life was like before Im in hell. Before I become angry at God, before Im sickened by Jesus, before I feel a need to call the shots in everything. And after I let myself see it, I saw that Im in hell, not because I feel like Im in hell, but because Ivent been able to see Im in hell. It wasnt until I let go of the illusion of control that I could see Im actually in hell.

Becoming Your Own Windkeeper Book is a quality tale of woe and affirmation, which most people would enjoy in the highest way. The ending was both profound and unexpected. Even better, I always felt like I was being invited to check with what I already knew was true deep in my heart. I knew Im in hell, and now Im convinced Im going to hell. I wanted to cry, but I laughed.
