Some of the cast members from the pilot have later appeared in spin-off series, such as Joey, Phoebe and Chandler. Friends ran for nine seasons and 228 episodes.

Monica Geller (Aniston) is the owner of the “Monica Geller Group” along with her best friend Phoebe Buffay (Kudrow) and her best friend, Rachel Green (Kudrow). Ross Geller (Schwimmer) is her boyfriend. She and Chandler Bing (Perry) are also friends with Joey Gladstone (LeBlanc). Chandler’s brother, Ross, is Monica’s boyfriend and became a father after seven years of marriage. He is divorced with a 17-year-old son, Ben (Leslie Kelley). Chandler is a real estate agent and in the first season begins to sell his company to a competitor and leaves for Arizona.
