27Q: What’s the best practice for toggling the display attribute? I have this asp.net application that uses jQuery Mobile with ASP.NET WebForms. It uses the jQuery Mobile toggle function where I am trying to implement the following requirement: When the user clicks on a specific link the display must be turned to display, when they click the same link again the display must be turned back to hidden. My current implementation has a table that contains the list of hidden rows as shown in the picture. For unknown reasons, I can’t hide the table on the page load. When a user clicks on the link, the row gets displayed. I have a single click event handler to do the click thing. But when the user clicks the same link again, it’s not working, The row keeps getting displayed even when the display is toggled. This is the current code: $(“[data-role=page]”).live(‘pagechange’, function () { $(“[data-role=row]”).each(function () { if ($(this).attr(‘data-disabled’) === “true”) { $(this).toggle(); } }); }); The pageChange event occurs on every single click in the application, I am using delegate to handle it on all pageChange’s. I can’t figure out the problem. I am not very experienced in jquery or javascript, so I am not exactly sure where the problem lies. EDIT: Also the following displays only one row at a time: $(“[data-role=row]”).each(function () { if ($(this).attr(‘data-disabled’) === “true”) { $(this).toggle(); } }); A: I believe you want to use the click event, not the pagechange event. For the latter to work, the links need to be within the page but outside of the body; if you want to toggle a row on page change, you’ll have to do it using a handler that triggers the click event: $(“a”).live(“click”, function () { $(this).clos 37a470d65a
